THE ANCIENT OAK Trees OF LOWER AUSTRIA

Oaks are definitely my favourite type of trees, but finding outstanding examples has become pretty difficult as there are some single ones here and there but never many of them together as a family of trees. One reason I like them so much is their diversity regarding their shapes and height but especially their gnarly branches, often covered with beautiful moss, which will light up in certain light conditions. They also create a mystical mood and every tree seems to have it’s very own character and story to tell. In 2020 in managed to find some areas which are home tot bigger societies of oaks. Since then I am coming back there on a weekly base and boy, there is so much to explore!
